The Budget 2012 update for Sage Payroll is now available for download direct from your payroll software. If you have not been notified of the availability you can download via Help > Check for Updates.
Some of the changes this makes to your software payroll include:
- calculation of USC on a cumulative basis
- employee detail screens is reconfigured to accommodate changes in USC
- USC rates and thresholds can be edited (if required by Revenue)
- employees are automatically moved to correct PRSI class if they were on one deleted in the recent Budget
- calculation of Timesheets takes account of the removal of ER PRSI relief on pension contributions
