Microsoft Power Platform
Power Platform is a collective term for three Microsoft products: Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate (previously known as Flow). These apps help you easily develop, manipulate, surface, automate and analyse data leveraging the full potential of Office 365 and Dynamics 365.
In the past data analysis, app creation or automation was achieved by software development teams. Power platform allows users to do more with their data without software coding skills allowing you to create, automate and analyse data in ways that would not have been possible to the average user.
Power BI is a business analytics tool which allows you to easily connect 100s of data sources, create and publish compelling reports and gain business intelligence using readymade dashboards to present your data in an easy to digest format.
PowerApps is a low-code method for app development, allowing users to build apps quickly and without development knowledge.
Power Automate formally known as Microsoft Flow allows you to create automations by connecting applications such as Outlook, Dynamics 365 and SharePoint and non-Microsoft apps such as Gmail, Twitter and Mailchimp. You can quickly set up alerts, automated emails and push notifications with no coding experience.
